TRUST & SECURITY

Security

Built for operational trust across vehicle visual evidence workflows.

Built for Operational Trust

Halo Eye is designed as infrastructure for vehicle visual evidence workflows where consistency, integrity, and operational reliability matter. From the beginning, our platform architecture has been designed around secure capture, controlled data movement, resilient cloud infrastructure, and explainable operational workflows.

We believe trust in AI systems begins before inference. That includes how data is captured, validated, transmitted, stored, and governed throughout the lifecycle of a workflow.

Platform Security Principles

Halo is built around several core security principles:

  • Security by design
  • Least-privilege access
  • Controlled infrastructure access
  • Secure-by-default workflows
  • Encrypted communications
  • Operational visibility and auditability
  • Minimal dependency complexity
  • Resilient cloud-native architecture
  • Human-readable and machine-readable operational traceability

Our approach focuses not only on protecting systems and data, but also on ensuring operational consistency and integrity across real-world capture environments.

Cloud Infrastructure

Halo operates on modern cloud infrastructure designed for scalability, resilience, and operational security.

Infrastructure protections may include:

  • Secure cloud hosting environments
  • Network-layer protections
  • Infrastructure isolation
  • Access-controlled environments
  • Environment separation between development and production systems
  • Managed infrastructure monitoring and logging
  • Continuous deployment workflows with controlled access

We continuously review infrastructure configuration, dependencies, and operational workflows as the platform evolves.

Encryption & Secure Transmission

Halo uses encrypted communications for data transmitted between devices, services, and cloud infrastructure where appropriate.

Security measures may include:

  • HTTPS/TLS encrypted communications
  • Secure upload workflows
  • Signed asset access patterns
  • Controlled API access
  • Secure session handling
  • Credential protection practices

Where applicable, data may also be protected at rest through cloud provider security controls and storage-layer protections.

Access Controls

Access to Halo systems and operational environments is restricted to authorized personnel with a legitimate business need.

Operational controls may include:

  • Role-based access practices
  • Principle of least privilege
  • Authentication controls
  • Access review procedures
  • Credential management standards
  • Restricted production access
  • Confidentiality obligations for personnel and partners

Halo continuously evaluates internal operational access practices as the platform scales.

Operational Integrity

Halo is designed to reduce operational inconsistency at the point of capture.

Unlike traditional image workflows that rely heavily on operator interpretation, Halo introduces guided capture systems, quality validation workflows, and structured operational metadata intended to improve repeatability, consistency, and downstream confidence.

Operational integrity measures may include:

  • Real-time capture guidance
  • Image quality validation
  • Workflow validation logic
  • Structured session metadata
  • Capture state validation
  • Audit-oriented workflow records
  • Session recovery and resumability mechanisms
  • Detection of incomplete or inconsistent workflow states

These systems are intended to improve reliability and traceability across vehicle imaging workflows.

Monitoring & Reliability

Halo continuously evaluates platform reliability, operational stability, and infrastructure health.

Monitoring practices may include:

  • Infrastructure monitoring
  • Error tracking
  • Operational logging
  • Performance monitoring
  • Availability monitoring
  • Workflow diagnostics
  • Incident investigation procedures

We use operational telemetry responsibly to improve platform quality, resilience, and customer experience.

Data Handling & Privacy

Halo is designed to minimize unnecessary collection of personal information while supporting operational workflows required by customers.

We do not sell personal information.

Customer data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable contractual obligations.

Where applicable, customers retain ownership of their operational data, media assets, and workflow outputs generated through the platform.

Third-Party Services & Providers

Halo may rely on carefully selected third-party infrastructure, analytics, communication, storage, and operational providers to support platform delivery.

We evaluate providers based on operational reliability, security posture, and suitability for enterprise-grade workflows where appropriate.

However, no third-party service can be guaranteed to be fully secure or uninterrupted.

Shared Responsibility

Security is a shared responsibility between Halo and customers using the platform.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Maintaining confidentiality of credentials
  • Managing authorized internal access
  • Securing user devices and networks
  • Following internal operational security practices
  • Promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access or misuse

Continuous Improvement

Security is an ongoing process, not a one-time milestone.

Halo continuously reviews its infrastructure, operational controls, workflows, dependencies, and security practices as the platform evolves.

As customer requirements grow, Halo intends to continue expanding its operational maturity, governance processes, and security capabilities to support increasingly complex enterprise workflows.

No Absolute Guarantee

While Halo uses commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect systems and information, no method of electronic transmission, storage, or internet-connected infrastructure can be guaranteed to be completely secure or uninterrupted.

Accordingly, Halo Eye Inc. cannot guarantee absolute security.
